Two Online Resources Worthy of Note
Posted on July 3, 2007 by Barbara Macaulay
This first resource will be of greatest interest to UMassOnline faculty and staff, although parents and students may wish to visit the site from time to time as well. It's called The Online Journal of Distance Learning Administration, or OJDLA for short. Here is the link. As noted on the site, this is what the OJDLA is all about:
The Online Journal of Distance Learning Administration is a peer-reviewed electronic journal offered free each quarter over the web. The journal welcomes manuscripts based on original work of practioners and researchers with specific focus or implications for the management of distance education programs.
The second reference and resource site is the United States Distance Learning Association, or USDLA, for short, of which we are a member. This link takes you to their mission statement which, in summary, is about providing leadership in, and advocacy for, distance learning.
