A Conversation with UMass Lowell Associate Chancellor Jacquie Moloney on Blended Learning

Posted on December 19, 2007 by Jennifer Brady

On November 6, 2007, UMassOnline announced ten new blended learning offerings. The development of these innovative degree and certificate programs, which combine online learning with on-campus instruction, were made possible by a generous grant from the Sloan Foundation received last January.

UMass Lowell Associate Chancellor Jacquie Moloney was the principal investigator for the research grant leading to this funding from the Sloan Foundation. She has been the driving force behind the subsequent development and release of the first ten offerings. For this podcast, we invited Jacquie to join us for a conversation about blended learning today and tomorrow, regionally, nationally and internationally.
