This isn’t the first time we’ve featured UMass Lowell Vice Chancellor Jacqueline Moloney on this blog – and it won’t be the last since she has been, and continues to be, such an important force behind the development, implementation, and innovation of online learning initiatives at the University of Massachusetts.
In this 20 minute interview, courtesy of UMass Lowell’s Sunrise Radio Podcasts, Vice Chancellor Moloney explains the origin and development of blended learning options at UMass, provides real-world reasons for the growing popularity of these programs, and provides a vision for the future of online learning as UMass continues to expand its online programs and their international reach. Interviewed for this Sunrise program by WUML 91.5 FM producer and co-host Christine Dunlap, Vice Chancellor Moloney is joined by UMass Lowell English Department Chair Melissa Pennell who provides an insightful faculty perspective of online learning.
