News Video Features Moms Getting Degrees Online

Jennifer Brady UMassOnlineAs a working Mom, I like to write a post now and then about moms, working outside the home or not, who have taken the plunge into online education. Since many parents are often juggling work and family, we know flexibility is a large benefit of learning online. Moms (and Dads) are a large part of the online student population and believe it is due to its flexibility, enabling working and learning parents to keep career development goals while raising a family as well as keeping connected with peers. So, Moms… if you’re looking for a little more inspiration from those just like you, here’s a WABC-TV New York, New York Eyewitness news video that captures much about what you do, how you do it, and why.  [For the record, I happen to also think working Dad’s experience and benefit the same. But since Dad’s are not featured in this video,  I am highlighting just the Moms.]
