Chinese Students, Ni Hao!
Posted on March 26, 2009 by Li Feng
UMassOnline has been in business for 8 years during which time the UMassOnline website has been a “gateway” for students from all over the world to a UMass education. As UMassOnline reaches out to a global population, we are mindful of the specific needs and preferences of students in different regions of the world. With the development of the collaboration with our partners in China, we wanted to develop a site that specifically caters to Chinese students, hence the creation of UMassOnline China.
To go to the new UMassOnline China site, click here: http://china.umassonline.net/. You will find a great deal of useful information tailored specifically for our Chinese-based students, including information on online education, student and faculty testimonials, available resources, FAQ’s, China blog, news highlights, and more importantly, course and registration information.
Our hope is that this site will help students in China to better navigate and browse for information about UMassOnline and online learning in general. With a customized color scheme, page layout, and FAQ’s directed to meeting the needs of Chinese students, we think the site will prove to be very useful. Currently, the site is in English but we are working on a Chinese version which will be available soon.
We look forward to hearing your feedback and comments to help us improve the UMassOnline China site. Please feel free to post a comment here, email me directly or complete the UMassOnline China site feedback survey located at the top right of this page: http://china.umassonline.net/AboutUs.cfm!
