Math Skills at Heart of Top-Paying Jobs for New College Graduates

If you’re going to college and you are not concerned about what you will do for a living and how much you will be paid once you’ve earned your degree, you may not be interested in what I have to say. If you are concerned, and if you want to snag one of the highest paying entry level jobs, then you’ll be interested in this CNNMoney.com story by Julianne Pepitone entitled, “Most Lucrative College Degrees.” The bottom line: learn to love math.
The top 15 highest-earning college degrees all have one thing in common — math skills. That’s according to a recent survey from the National Association of Colleges and Employers, which tracks college graduates’ job offers.
The full article provides more details about the types of companies and industries seeking grads with math skills and describes some of the tasks assigned to new hires.
