UMassOnline a Top Ten Provider Based on Student Review-Driven Survey
Posted on September 8, 2009 by Jennifer Brady
Thanks to this blog post I saw this recent news out of Birmingham, Alabama:
Online Degree Reviews, an independent organization, ranks 394 colleges on their website www.onlinedegreereviews.org using reviews posted by actual students. Schools are ranked in seven categories on a scale of one-to-ten and each review is posted online for public consumption. Basing the Top 10 Online Colleges on these reviews, the results are:
SCORE INSTITUTION
9.6 Andrew Jackson University
9.2 Boise State University
9.1 Seton Hall University
9.0 Columbia Southern University
9.0 Norwich University
9.0 Henley-Putnam University
9.0 Touro University
8.7 UMass Online
8.6 Grand Canyon University
8.1 Bellevue University
I decided to take a first-hand look at the originating site, which you can see here, too. If you go there, you can also drill down to this page which offers nine student reviews of programs offered by the UMass campuses through UMassOnline.
