USDLA 2010 National Conference Keynote
Posted on December 10, 2009 by Jennifer Brady
USDLA is the United States Distance Learning Association. If you’re not that familiar with the organization, here’s a brief introduction from their own description: The United States Distance Learning Association was the first nonprofit Distance Learning association in the United States to support Distance Learning research, development and praxis across the complete arena of education, training and communications… In 1987, the USDLA was founded on the premise of creating a powerful alliance to meet the burgeoning education and training needs of learning communities via new concepts of the fusion of communication technologies with learning in broad multidiscipline applications.
At their May 2-5 National Conference in St. Louis, MO, one of two keynote speakers will be UMass President Jack Wilson, Ph.D. As many people know, prior to being named President of UMass, Dr. Wilson was the first CEO of UMassOnline, which he built into one of the most successful online programs in the United States. At this link you can learn much more about the conference and register to attend.
